SandblastingRoom

Sandblasting Room
Sandblasting technology is widely applied in various industrial fields such as shipbuilding, bridge construction, water conservancy projects, and mining machinery. It is the most ideal method for large-area cleaning of metal surfaces before coating. For non-coating surfaces, it can play roles in surface strengthening, engraving, and decoration. Steel materials pre-treated with sandblasting will have significantly improved corrosion resistance compared to untreated steel materials. The process equipment of a sandblasting room consists of a painting system, a sandblasting system (which includes the sandblasting room body, sandblasting system, sand recovery system, dust removal system, vacuum sand suction system, dehumidification system, electrical control system, lighting system, and flexible door), and other components.
Performance Indicators
The overall indicators present three-dimensional advantages:
◆Chamber Body & Load Adaptability: The effective dimensions (length × width × height) of the chamber body are ≥ 12m × 6m × 5m (can be customized to 30m × 15m × 10m, suitable for ship blocks and complete excavators).
◆Sandblasting Grade and Surface Quality: The rust removal grade for steel surfaces shall be ≥ GB/T 8923.2-2022 Grade Sa2.5 (≥ Grade Sa3.0 for special high anti-corrosion requirements). The residue of scale and rust shall be ≤ 1%, with no visible oil, grease or dirt. Surface roughness: Ra 50~100μm for ordinary steel structures, Ra 30~60μm for precision construction machinery parts (in compliance with GB/T 13288-2022, ensuring subsequent coating adhesion).
◆Uniformity and Coverage Rate: The sandblasting coverage rate on the workpiece surface shall be ≥ 99.5%, and the range of surface roughness on the same workpiece shall be ≤ 20μm.
